Just ran with a new profile and Compositing says Direct3d 11. now to figure out the problem. Could be a pref.

disabled all my add-ons and Compositing now says direct3D 11. Now to narrow down the add-on causing the problem.

I found two add-ons which cause the problem. If either one is enabled I get the wrong Compositing info. The add-ons are:

Zoom Page WE
History AutoDelete.

Both add-ons happen to be Webextension add-ons.

****** TamperMonkey also causes this problem according to the bug report.

I do have that when Enhance for Youtube or Magic Action for Youtube add-ons are activated.

According to the bug report on this issue it's just a reporting problem. Even though it says "BasicLayers (main thread, no OMTC)" it is in fact using Direct3D 11. So not to worry.

No. But I get the occasional extreme 100% peg followed by an unresponsive tab on Google based websites. Restarting the browser usually fixes it....for a while.
