I was able to also make it hang by advancing the video. Here's a video to test this out: http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/07/vr/manila ... index.html.

Here's the regression range. Don't know if it made it's way into Nightly yet.

Good

No hang here on m-c tinderbox win32 build - video did stop at 2:50 and was just spinning a loading circle. I advanced a couple seconds ahead and video finished out.
During playback I jumped several times forward and back no issues.

using cset: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/ ... ae1f8de64a on win10 x64

As far as I'm able to see, the Status-4-Evar extension isn't working with v. 55. Can anyone confirm this, please?

Please do not email me for support/help/bug reports. I will not respond and will probably just delete it. The preferred way to contact me is to post in the official support topic on MozillaZine or create an issue on GitHub.
post on his Github, you'll get a reponse there or in the Extension forum here

Your cset is in the good zone. You need to install the bad cset I gave.

Problem might be with this which they rebuilt just awhile ago. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1339246

Can't test the rebuilt version as it hasn't made it's way to inbound to download.

@streetwolf - that cset has not made into m-c yet, the build that contains that patch is on m-c but there are not useable builds running on m-c tree... Looks to me like merge failed to build any windows stuff, and maybe Mac & Linux

Will test again if/when it comes available on m-c tinderbox win32
