After doing several benchmarks with freshly build inbound nightly:

CacheIR do not provide any performance improvement :(

AFAIK CacheIR is not even close to being rolled out. CacheIR

Sorry my fault then, I thought bug1328140 was the culprit.

CacheIR is a big project. Bug 1328140 is just a part of it. From what I understand, CacheIR is simplifying parts of the Spidermonkey and making it easier to optimize more stuff that right now runs very slowly. The mainstream benchmarks won't improve much from this project because generally they already run on the fastest part of the engine.

yeah, I don't like the change, the progress of the download moving 'upward' in the arrow is too hard to see.

Yes, this animation. And what the meaning of the yellow circle? It doesn't appear after every download, only if I start a ddl after a few minutes IDLE.

i recall awhile ago that Mozilla were thinkin about getting rid of Aurora channel ,an just have Nightly an Beta dunno if that Bug Means just that?

Is this version CPU intensive for you guys?
My CPU goes up to 30-50% when I load a webpage, even on simple websites like this forum. :D

you dont say what extensions etc you are using in the mean time, have you tried safe-mode,
