Create new profile, set browser.tabs.animate to false, open the following urls in separate tabs from here: http://pastebin.com/tRt3ivFk
Once you have 23 tabs open, switch to the first tab and start closing them using Ctrl-W. What the user sees on screen, ER:
The contents of the next tab are rendered immediately after Ctrl-W is pressed
AR:
The contents of the current tab are replaced with blank white page with spinner for a fraction of a second and only after that the contents of the next tab are rendered

Basically it looks like flickering, that shouldn't happen

I don't know why but tab opening/closing animations are very laggy on my machine, got no idea why. That's why I disabled them.

I'm having issues with embeded Youtube videos not playing (after 20secs), if I'm logged into Youtube.. Works fine if not logged in.

@mdew, I'm seeing issues playing YouTube videos on YouTube, browser stops responding after X amount of time, then recovers. Video freezes, but audio continues playing.

Lots of lag typing in this text box too, very strange behavior today.

I'm also having issues with youtube namely the page not displaying but the links are still active. In my case disabling the add-in 'Zoom Page WE' fixes this. Perhaps other zoom add-ons also produce the problem.
