Sidebar on the right side of window
In latest nigthly build (55.0a1 2017-04-22) sidebar shows on the right side of the window.
Can sidebar be set to show on the left side by changing settings in about:config?

At least now it matches the icon in the toolbar button. Hahahahaha!

Can't find 'userChrome.css'. Not in 'AppData' nor 'Program' folders

It's in profile/chrome folder. (open about:support click 'Open Folder')zony wrote:Can't find 'userChrome.css'. Not in 'AppData' nor 'Program' folders
you need to create one if you don't see chrome folder and put userChrome.css in there.

Re: Sidebar on the right side of window
Patch that moved the sidebar to right-side has been backed out on 'inbound' due to numerous issues it seems. Unclear if they will indeed add a pref, or just work on polish and implement the change post Fx 57.

Re: Sidebar on the right side of window
The sidebar on the right end would probably also look weird if you have a bookmark that open in the sidebar.
I hope that they will reconsider to remove userChrome.css.
Maybe they can make it possible to compress the file with LZ4 to make it harder for malware to make changes or have some kind of master password or hash protection that can be used to protect the file.
This would be more work to make changes to the file, but at least we can still make changes to the user interface.

Re: Sidebar on the right side of window
I had a 60.9 MB update for Linux Nightly today.
The sidebar is back on the left. I was just getting used to it being on the right.
