A dev closed Bug 1365256 without a patch or a comment.
Yes, it's fixed here with 55.0a1 (2017-05-17).
I tested, but sadly it does not seem to be the case. In safe mode a bunch of addons are enabled, but are shown to be disabled. Some are non-functional: CTR doesn't seem to work but it has it's menuitem present.
I have the following Extensions, in one 'Test profile' (on Windows 7, Nightly 64bit),
which has been in use for many months.

Previously (on 2017-05-04), I had set "extensions.allow-non-mpc-extensions" to "true".

Classic Theme Restorer 1.6.7beta2
NoScript 5.0.4rc3
RefControl 0.8.17.1-signed.1-signed
RequestPolicy Continued 1.0.beta12.4

They are all working.

However, on 2017-05-17 update, I now have a 'grey background' to the Location bar.

See Bug 1365509
Various GUI artifacts and issues in Mozilla Firefox Nightly 55.0a1 (2017-05-16) with Persona/Light Theme/Appearance

Also, when restarting Nightly
(with about 20 Windows, some with 2 or 3 tabs, some with 'just one Tab' - approx 70 Tabs in total)
the 'lazification of Nightly' now means that I have to force a Refresh [Ctrl]+[SHIFT]+[R]
to get Nightly to 'display the web site title'
e.g. "The Official 20170518 builds are not yet out", in the Title Bar.

Until I force a Refresh, all 20 Windows are just titled "Nightly".

So Alice0775 filed Bug 1365706, and it looks like it got fixed in an unusually short time.

Hi,

does anyone know whether the recent Photon additions in Nightly 55 will make it into Firefox 55 beta or not? Will they stay on Nightly only until version 57?

@ Aris - Most of them should stay disabled as default per "browser.photon.structure.enabled" preference set to "false" in about:config
and per not enabled MOZ_PHOTON_ANIMATIONS config var/define and MOZ_PHOTON_THEME build option,
but it's Mozilla, which we're talking about, so you can't be 100% sure, that it's going to be like that forever ;)

Hi guys!

I always forgot to ask, but is the "select all" feature for code sections broken for anyone else on this and all other phpBB forums? It's been happening for a long time for me.
I just tried three that I had on the top of my head. Either clicking it just scrolls to the top of the page(here and potplayer.daum.net/forum) , or opens a new tab with a broken anchor (forums.informaction.com).

In today's Nightly the awesomebar is bigger again. Font still seems to be smaller though.
