Yeah, the freezes go on.

Going to anandtech forums or even beyond3d, the browser freezes randomly. I have to go the task manager to kill the freezing process (among the 5 available).
After some tests, it seems e10s related, as i have no issues whatsoever with Palemoon for example (nor with Chromium). It does happen with Waterfox 53, when you enable e10s. I have tested with all add-ons disabled too. Same crap. Weirdly enough, until 2 weeks ago never had this issue but since last week...

Yeah, this is a general direction. So going to release channel, only delays the issues. And most of these breakages are intentionally added incompatibilities.
Nightly serves as an early warning for me these days. (Some time it served as an early access to improvements and new useful features.) And I'll be displeased by all the stupid crap they're doing whether you like it or not. :)

That's just what's being a politician means. "Democracy" makes sure that the most capable liar, hypocite, demagog, showman gets the power, but nothing else.

Quite a bit of the work appears to focus on improving performance on the Speedometer benchmark - https://arewefastyet.com/#machine=35&vi ... meter-misc

Are you ready for deprecation of XUL & XBL & XPCOM extensions? Not?! Try Firefox ESR

That's partly due to the tabs not being square yet.

@ keztrel - For me it has nothing to do with squared tabs, because there were always a dropdown area in the beginning and in the end of the tab bar. Now it's just only extra big. ](*,)

@keztrel tabs in compact mode are square and have the same problem.

Mozilla did this in order to have a larger area to drag the window. See... https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1355764

I am using Tab Mix Plus and I don't see any extra space on the tab bar.

Glad to see Mozilla started to refactor Gecko’s event queue.

I don't get this. I created a new profile set browser.photon.structure.enabled;true, yet I see nothing. It looks the ~same as it did for years.
Are they dropping support for win8.x? I can't imagine them maintaining two GUI-s. They can't even handle one.
