The problem persists if you disable telemetry (go to about:telemetry and click on the "change" - uncheck Nightly Health Report)?

Indeed it does. I've done a bit more testing on this and I think I have found the source of the issue - Webroot. If I disable the software and restart the browser then the issue is non-reproducible. As soon as I enable it again the issue reoccurs.Josa wrote:The problem persists if you disable telemetry (go to about:telemetry and click on the "change" - uncheck Nightly Health Report)?
I've put in a request on both the Mozilla and Webroot side of things to see if this can be sorted. It seems some change in Firefox is causing Webroot to do something bad. Either way it needs to be fixed.
Thanks for the help guys, I'll try to remember to let you all know how this turns out!
Cheers!

It seems i have found the issue concerning the constant Firefox (using e10s) hanging on certain board discussions.
I have changed accessibility.force_disable from 0 to 1 and so far it seems to have fix the problem.

I spoke with a support operative from Webroot and they basically told me "it's not a release so we don't really care" - got a refund and bought a piece of software that works instead. A solution is a solution.
Cheers!
