Hi!

I have a feature in the tab's context menu in v55 beta. That would be something like "send tab to device" in english. Where I see my phone in a sub-menu.

Now I want this in the opposite direction. So is it available in FF for Android? If yes, where/how can I get the beta version?

Use the share button and share the tab to firefox, it'll prompt you to send it to a device.

Firefox doesn't appear there. I guess it's because I have automatic synchronization disabled in the android seettings. (Stupidly I can only en/disable it for everything and not one-by-one. Mozilla shouldn't have relied on this infrastructure...)

But Firefox's behavior seems to have changed the behavior here sometime recently, looking at the release firefox from the playstore, it now says Send to other devices on my share menu, which prompts the interface to select another account. Are you sure you've logged into Firefox?

This was fixed today. this problem was really bugging me and I thought it was just me. Good to know that it's resolved!

Indeed. But it only synchronizes whatever you set if you have data synchronization enabled globally in Android. Which sucks.

Are you sure you've logged into Firefox?

Yes. If I press Synchronize now on my phone for the FF account I can see that tabs (after a while) in the synchronized tabs sidebar.
