I decided to figure out where all free space on my C: drive went. The result surprised me. Ladies and gentlemen, the Father of all caches:
Image
Yep, 20 gigs of cache data  [-X In case anyone is wondering: I had cache size manually set to 1024 mb at least for a couple of months (I didn't modify any other settings or about:config entries), and the free space started to vanish around two weeks ago. It looks like Nightly update broke something. I don't know if this bug is reproducible.
Sorry for my poor English.

Looks like there will be a respin, now that they have enabled updates for all Windows Nightly users.

Lots of changeset backouts.

I have no idea what's going on but there are still no tinderbox builds or Nightly for Windows that I can find for today.

There is one thing I don't understand. Mozilla's planning to add an ability to disable animations in Options menu. However, this bug is still not fixed: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1237654
That means users that disable animations will see white flashes when closing tabs. That's unacceptable but why Mozilla doesn't fix this bug?

I got a Win 64 Nightly update about one hour ago. Or at the very least it said it was. :-)

Don't know about tinderbox builds, but they probably throttled updates again for Nightly due to all the backouts and need for a respin.

Just updated earlier today on Linux and just updated again to Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0 ID:20170727162531 CSet: 36f95aeb4c77f7cf3b3366583008cd6e4b6b1dba

Linux seems to be building, Windows and maybe OSX are not.

I see that build in the Nightly folder but its still not showing up where I normally find them nor is it marked as complete in the treeherder.

I usually use tinderbox (hourly) builds and manually download them for quicker testing and there has been no new builds there since yesterday.

FTP I usually use: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/tind ... ral-win32/
nor are they appearing in https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox ... ral-win32/

Now, build bot is using "taskcluster"..

You can find win32 and win64 tinderbox build and nightly build.

Open treeherder https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=mozilla-central&filter-searchStr=windows%202012%20opt
Click tc in Windows 2012 opt and Windows 2012 x64 opt.
Click B or N, Nr
You can find the build as target.zip, installer.exe and installer-stub.exe

Bug 1383257 (comment 96) - Land changes to flip windows nightlies on, and to tier 1 on central
Looks like from treeherder m-i, m-c that no windows builds are running/starting.
...but no further comment in the bug.

Thanks but now I'm more confused. the setup.exe file is only showing as 241kb ? I donwloaded that file and on disk its only 636kb

I ran that file and nothing is installed Windows says can't find firefox.exe - I did not see any other download taking place like it might be a stub or something....
