[56b12] Unable to access HTTPS sites

Post by AskaLangly »

For example, answers.microsoft.com, or any Microsoft site requiring support, including their Knowledge Base articles.
It's complete BS, blocking sites based on their TLS version.
Please give user override? Thanks.

Use stable Firefox build from here - https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/.
Virtualfox persona
Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

No problem accessing the Microsoft sites I tested including https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us and links under the Support heading.

Have you tried Firefox in safe mode?

Windows Notebook - AMD A8 7410 2.2GHz | 6.0GB RAM | AMD Radeon R5

No problem here. I would suspect he's using Antivirus that has https network checking software where they 'inject' their own cert in the path, which usually causes issues with connections.
