Still getting significant painting issues with omtp...
One site that is easily reproducible is http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calcula ... ial/Simple

With it enabled scrolling is very slow, can freeze for over 5seconds at a time where only the background is visible.

Is there a bug for this?

Scrolling is really fast for me. I did see the background when I scrolled really fast near the bottom of the page. I have modified Fx's scrolling prefs so perhaps this is why I have no problems. Here's my prefs if interested:

user_pref("general.smoothScroll.lines.durationMinMS", 200);

bjherbison, it turned out that the bug about Bookmarks not showing the favicon when a page is bookmarked until the page is revisited turned out to be triggered by having history disabled, and that is a known bug: Bug 1353779 - New bookmark does not show favicon when browsing history is diabled.

Thank you, again, for the data point you provided in helping to narrow down the problem!

Sorry, I didn't type what I meant to. I meant that painting while scrolling is very slow (it will just show the background for a second or more while painting tries to catch up). Scrolling fast (draging the scrollbar) causes even bigger issues and complete stalls for over 5secs. Scrolling still continues fine. I tried Webrender with omtp enabled and scrolling just completely broke.

So you had WR enabled and had these problems? If so, I am not surprised at all. WR is not quite ready for prime time.

Bug 1405543 - The in-browser media player for Firefox Quantum doesn't render properly
Thanks for the report, the problem only seems to occur when layout.css.servo.enabled = true.

No... I tried it just to see if it would happen if it would fix the omtp issue or not. It just made things worse with lagg everywhere else in the browser.

Looks like all Sidebar WebExtensions will integrate into the Firefox sidebar. So no more two sidebars.

Firefox is unusable, because print output is quite broken. Thanks Mozilla.
