i noticed that firefox 57/58 show the wrong option when downloading certain files (eg zip/rar). it wants by default to open inn packager (winrar) and i have to chose to save. a view in the mimetypes list in settings reveals that i have only 8 types present while the rest is lost. a look into mimetypes.rdf tell me all present up to firefox 56.
why did firefox 57 drop this list/file and where can i add mimetypes again?

that mimetypes.rdf is no longer used since firefox 55 -> handlers.json.
v55 did that conversion but v57 wont do that. at least i skipped v55* and v56*
* which means i have a profile for v55 but never for v56 (because v56 is not compatible to v55-profile nor to v57-profile, causing lots of issues)
