I have been using 57 since it entered Nightly channel and now beta. It "seems" like in beta13 and particularly beta14 the use of memory is lower.

Any comments?

Nightly has extra telemetry and extra test code that doesn't "ride the rails" to Beta and Release. Scrubbing extra telemetry, removing debugging and test code may be why it takes about a week for Nightly to roll into Beta. And, according to one developer that posted on reddit, this is why Beta may be faster and smaller than the corresponding Nightly version.

I looked through the list of bugs referenced on http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3034808 for Beta 13 -> Beta 14 Changelog and drilled into a number of them, but nothing obvious regarding memory usage stood out.
