ff b57 memory leak youtube
When I run lots ( 20 or so ) tabs of youtube ( only one running ), memory usage creeps up as expected.
When I close all of the tabs of youtube, the memory usage does NOT go down.
I have a jpg of windows task manager showing firefox using 3.7GB of ram with firefox not running.

Are you running Firefox Nightly? According to the forum software you're running FF58.

It could be Bug 1386177 - Very high memory usage after watching many HTML5 movies on Firefox with uBlock Orgin, even after closing them all,
some users even reporting issue without any extensions.

so that rules that out that its a Extension issue. looks like its a Browser problem, an i thought firefox Memory was supposed to be better handled from 57 onwards .derekm wrote:Same effect with Adblock Plus, won't release memory.
