Yes, I can confirm this issue and I also reported this here - Bug 1418752 - Firefox instahang on start after landing patch from bug #1392841

I can only tell what this is some way related with extensions in my case. But I cannot determining pattern.

No hang on start here...Only using 1 addon - ForecastFox, plus those that Moz thinks we need.

WebRender Project status update posted for Friday November 17th:

Project Status - YELLOW
Team is currently focused on Performance Investigation work (Phase II) which is expected to conclude at the end of the 59 Nightly cycle.
Performance Implementation (Phase III) MVP Backlog and release forecast expected Tuesday January 23.
