Firefox homepage
When I first open firefox it opens the last page I was browsing before I closed it down. This might even be the day before.
I have set my homepage and if I click on the home button it does open my homepage.
I have tried resetting firefox. Ive even deleted and reinstalled it.
I havent installed any add ons so the only ones are the 2 firefox places there when it is installed.
Sometimes it trys to open but come up with ' sorry we couldnt load this time try again'
All this has started since I downloaded the new firefox build.
Any help please.

Re: Firefox homepage
Take a look in about:preferences. What radio button is selected under "When Nightly starts"?

Re: Firefox homepage
I have no 'when nightly starts' in the about:preferences page.
I have General, Search, Privacy and Security and firefox account. and all the options under those but no 'when nightly starts' anywhere

Re: Firefox homepage
Is it not in the 'General' (tab, pane, glaboff - whatever you call that area to the right of the word, 'General')?
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Re: Firefox homepage
In the general tab. when firefox starts the 'show your home page' is selected. I have tried the other tabs and I have tried using different home page url's but all the same effect.

Its getting beyond a joke now. I keep getting cant find your page refresh and reload page settings when ever I click on firefox to open it. I click on a page and it not only brings that page up but the last 2 pages as well.
Think Im going to go to a different browser.

It sounds like your profile is messed up, possibly by an add-on. Try resetting your profile or creating a new one.

Re: Firefox homepage
I have tried that but I haven't got any add ons except the ones that are there when you first download Firefox.
I have even deleted firefox and completed a fresh install of windows 10 to get rid of anything that might be lingering and affecting it but still the same.
The funny thing is I use the same setup on my laptop and no problems.

And the shortcut itself says it will do what, open what, & with what parameters?
