FF can't open html file

Post by fixit7 »

For some reason, FF 58.0b16 (64-bit) chokes when trying to open this file.

Bug reports were sent about this issue.

Non Quantum versions had no difficulty and it opens fine with Seamonkey.

Basically.
But a

Code: Select all

 box would help.

Looks good on my end, FF 58.

idd. +1

i have copied code to a file, perfoming a search is functional (although i see several ref-id in source!?)

Code: Select all

https://search.yahoo.com/web/adv_rd;_ylt=A86.J79_nOdVBQcAoNerzbkF?adult_done=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.yahoo.com%2Fsearch&adult_cancel=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.yahoo.com%2Fweb%2Fadvanced&_adv_prop=web&x=op&.bcrumb=H22JKsN9W.G&ei=UTF-8&fr=altavista&fr2=&va=searchterm&va_vt=any&vp=&vp_vt=any&vo=&vo_vt=any&ve=&ve_vt=any&vst=0&vs=&vf=all&vc=&fl=0&n=40
the magic number is 51 and you are probably part of it :p

thanks for your help.

I have tried clearing cache etc. and disabling all addons.

Going to my yahoo mail it either crashed or uses 100% of my cpu with only one tab open.

I will try the rest of the troubleshooting steps.
