Actually, , it is having issues displaying in general. I'm typing into this text box at the bottom of the screen, but it is just showing as white, until I click to select it, then it shows as a blue rectangle. I can go into IE and view it though. (Not sure if this will get through)

Aha, it worked! I can see a white rectangle, and type blindly into it, then click tab and enter to do this.

I can't work in IE, though, because I have my password remembered in Firefox, and have no way of retrieving or resetting it right now.

I wonder if the version 60 "nightly" build would actually work any better than the 59 "beta 3".

Does anyone know if the Mozbackup application still works with these newer versions?

Until now, it has served well. I ran a profile backup before going to the version 59 "beta 3" version.

Longer term, I also have a profile backed up back in version 56, which actually still worked with the Session Manager extension, which cannot be said of the newer versions.

For reference:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 ID:20180122192913

Hey, my typing isn't half bad, considering I'm doing it blindly.

Oddly enough, it now seems to work OK. Maybe it just needed to warm up a bit. Weird.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention: I went to Tools:Options, unchecked "Use recommended performance settings", and unchecked "Use hardware acceleration when available", and ratched down "Content process limit" to 2 or 3. I don't know what possessed me to try it, but there it is. It worked.

OK, even more oddly, now it is doing it again. I was going to say it worked quicker too, but it is acting very strange.
