Bug 1471415 was fixed but I can still reproduce the issue with the bookmarks menu panel. STR:

1. Drag the bookmarks menu icon to the toolbar (it looks like a star on a tray)
2. Load a long page
3. Click bookmarks icon
4. Try to scroll the page

AR: can't.

Could somebody confim?

This is not a recent regression.
The annoying behavior is due to Bug 982121.
I thought the behavior was bad side effect of Bug 982121, but Dev said it was by design ](*,)

All my problematic experiences with nightly lately always boil down to the very same culprit. Having a couple of Youtube tabs open in the background, loaded or not loaded, sometimes it's all fine and dandy in the first few hours, but slowly but surely they suck all life and responsiveness out of the browser.

I got it? Was there an issue pushing them out yesterday?

That's been like it for almost a year though... https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1386177

Fallout from bug 1453751 that started loading favicons in the content process. Likely bug 1472476 or bug 1472477, but it also may break for some sites that have their favicon hosted externally and where it's not covered by their CSP (which is now followed for favicon loads).

I'm aware of that landing.

Do you have any idea why the favicon won't show here?
https://forum.gamespodcast.de/

It also doesn't show in Chrome because of a mixed content warning, but it seems to be served over HTTPS as well in Firefox...

From browser console:
[Exception... "Favicon at "http://forum.gamespodcast.de/favicon.ico" failed to load: Moved Permanently." nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: resource:///modules/ContentLinkHandler.jsm :: onStopRequest :: line 130" data: no]
Maybe Bug 1472477 - Favicon loads don't follow redirects
=======

Some other favicons may be now blocked by bug 1453751 and ad-blockers with Enhanced Tracking list and rule:

Code: Select all

/favicon.ico$third-party,image,domain=~reddit.com|~4chan.org|~twitter.com|~live.com|~espn.com
One example is https://www.hkepc.com/. Its favicon link is https://i.hkepc.net/favicon.ico and in browser console it shows:
[Exception... "Favicon at "https://i.hkepc.net/favicon.ico" failed to load." nsresult: "0x80004004 (NS_ERROR_ABORT)" location: "JS frame :: resource:///modules/ContentLinkHandler.jsm :: onStopRequest :: line 123" data: no]

Regarding black lines with webrender in nightly ( http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... #p14803661 ) , found the culprit forgot to post back.
Anisotropic filtering x16 had been set globally, with this corrected Nightly with webrender seems to be working well - cold starts are rendering and flowing better.

My ISP+Television provider's (Telenet BE) livestream TV over time (10+mins) slowly loses synchronization between Audio/Video.
Happens in FF Nightly + Stable, in Chrome all stays fine.
