While there are ASAN Nightlies for Windows now, I wouldn't recommend trying it yet. Bug 1477490 makes it pretty unstable, and until bug 1426176 is fixed it's hard to distinguish bugs in Firefox from bugs in ASAN itself (like bug 1477490). I think both are fairly close to a fix though, so it might be ready for public consumption soon (next week maybe).

Thanks for the info. I tried that build yesterday but it crashed very quickly, so I'll wait some more.

It's been working fine for me on Linux as long as I watch your system memory.

If you just want a link to the builds, they're here just like regular Nightlies (they get automatic updates too). They're the ones labeled "asan-reporter" (referring to a plugin that replaces the crash reporter and automatically sends reports about crashes triggered by ASAN).

But yeah, the Linux version should work pretty well but the Windows version will just crash a bunch and send unhelpful reports right now.

Download Star seems to be a pretty good replacement for DTA after the author has added an ability to limit the number of concurrent downloads.

Did anybody notice and mention that descriptions for bookmarks are gone? If so I missed it.

Getting an error when trying to install, something with "clang_rt.asan_dynamic-x86_64.dll". Error message is in swedish so don't quite know what it says, but it starts fine after install and running using about 8GB of ram with 11 pinned tabs.

Hmm, that's odd. I haven't tried the installer myself, maybe I should. clang_rt.asan_dynamic-x86_64.dll is the ASAN runtime which is certainly required.

Edit: I also get an error. Looks like bug 1478096 was filed about this problem. Sounds like it doesn't affect the functionality of the browser.

Same but with HD 5750. The page is a bit laggy though.
