it turns out to be GPU usage went up to 95% when the object above "The Essential iOS Apps for 2018" is loaded. GPU usage went down to ~20%-25% when the article is loaded.
GPU usage is about 8% when using Chrome.

My GPU is AMD FirePro W4100.

Edit: After a driver update, the front page of lifehacker.com's GPU usage went down from 95% to <2% !! still 20-25% when the article is loaded.

Well guess its time to fade to black. Mozilla has permanently blocked my email account so I can't login to Bugzilla. Its been shut down 3 times due to alleged 'malicious' content from some server:
Your mail server (dsn; a58-226.smtp-out.us-west-2.amazonses.com) said: (failed) smtp; 554 5.7.1 [P4] Message blocked due to spam content in the message.
I can not even send email from my email now to complain, blocked.

Since I can no longer follow bugs , file bugs, there is no point in continuing so I'm no longer going to bother testing.

Its been an fun educational 14 yrs but guess its time to find something else to occupy my time. I've enjoyed working and meeting the long time friends here at 'zine', but alas...
I have decided to go...

Thanks to everyone

TheVisitor

P.S. I have NO desire to create another email account just for Bugzilla and I would lose my permissions of EDIT/Confirm which I've had since Firefox 1.0

if you have any special character and web address in your mail, remove them and try again. i've seen a LOT of mails being blocked because of that.

Yep, some email provider dislike/refuse amazonses.com. I think that many spammers are passing through amazonses.com.
see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1474066

I also encountered this about 2 weeks ago. So I changed my email provider from yahoo.co.jp to gmail.com.

Mozilla should not use amazonses.com! ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Or better yet: Email providers shouldn't use reputation-based blocking for cloud-mail providers.
Additionally: Bugzilla shouldn't disable an account that cannot receive notification emails, but just disable all notifications emails. Maybe allow a couple of password reset requests to try to get through, but nothing else.

i refuise to use Bugzilla as they force you to use a Long Password, i dont like that idea, they tried that in Fedora Linux Anaconda ( for tighter security reasons ) an everyone complained about the Feature so it was dropped.

Page will only show parts of page if you mouse around, placing cursor on the 'hamburger' will show page, move away and the page goes away... very strange.

I had the same issue as you and Alice0775 about 2 months ago, but I wrote email as stated in some part of Bugzilla login error

Code: Select all

If you believe your account should be restored,
please send email to bugzilla-admin@mozilla.org explaining why.
and had my account re-activated in few days.

better still, dont bother with Bugzilla. Mozilla need a side tooll so a user can send a Bugzilla without logging into Bugzilla itself , a bit like Fedora Linux's ABRT
