Recently I've noticed that when I click the "Restart to update Nightly" menu item.
Nightly restarts but the Nightly is installing your updates progress bar isn't being displayed.
Did this get removed?
I just updated Nightly on another of my Linux operating systems from Help > About Nightly.
I noticed the update is now applied before restarting.

I had this problem as well, about a week ago on Mac, the build wouldn't restart automatically. Seems to be fixed now.

you don't see the progress bar because of the staging update was re-enabled.
if you wana see that classic meter again in next update, flip the pref app.update.staging.enabled to false.
