Near as I can tell, that is the latest Nightly.. Today's Nightly did not start on time or as expected. It only started (at least for windows 63 mins ago), normally takes about 2 hrs to build.

I'm on build 4b3fc8b91280 after manually updating from the website and just noticed black screen on Youtube (it's only brief, about 0.4secs). Previously I was experiencing white screens. WR enabled.

The latest Nightly is 20190105123739 https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/ ... 9fd2977928Because of the problems with update you'll have to manually update by either using the current exe or the zip file as I did. I suspect the update problem will be fixed with a manual update at some point.

This morning help -> about installed the second partial update since I ran the full installer (from here) and the update went smoothly. So yesterday's run of the full installer fixed the problem of the never-ending spinner when checking for updates. ( Bug 1517718 backed out a change that caused the never-ending spinner, and installing a new set of executables solved it for me without waiting for the workaround in Bug 1517743 to get posted.)

No problem here except I don't understand why a video with 130k views isn't serving VP9.

avc1 is h264, while av01 is av1. It's not a good thing if h264 videos are not working...

Updater still broken ? Maybe in a different fashion... No updates have been auto found. Take that back, somewhat... Help->About says 'Restart to update' however... there was NO green-dot on the 'Hamburger' telling me there was an update available.

Same here: 'Check for updates but let you choose to install them' Guess I'll give it another cycle and see.

I did wait until others reported that the never-ending check for updates bug appeared to be fixed before I updated. As a result, I may have skipped over the buggy update build. I'd be tempted to get a build from a week or so back, install it and see if the update worked as it should.

I'm on one of the 2009-01-03 builds because updates don't work. Waiting for1517743 to rescue me. Or waiting to verify the 1517743 fix when it comes. Or maybe just being lazy. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1517743
