think i'll be sticking to firefox66 Beta when its out, it just feels like there stablelising Firefox for the next ESR by fixing as many bugs in nightly as possible without bring in anything new? or am i wrong

I think it's the opposite. They rush to land very important things that will make a big difference from landing in ESR 67 and not just in ESR 74.

i thought ESR was supposed to be 68? got any link to say it will be 67 , going by this link https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar its 68

Ah, my mistake then. I thought there were always 7 versions from one ESR to the next...
