Firefox download failure

Post by josegotme »

I tried to purchase VideoStudio 2019 but, Firefox would not open the purchase link, just looped. IE11 did the job.
Running Firefox beta 4

Well, unless someone else plans to purchase that software, it's going to be difficult to determine possible causes for that.

Again, is there some reason you are using the beta versions of Firefox?

Try running Fx in safe mode. An add-on could be causing your problem. If you still have the problem try a new profile.

It works in safe mode-now to find the culprit-thanks
The culprit is Ublock Origin

I use uBO also. Experience has taught me that when a link doesn't work disable uBO for that site. If it has no ads then no problem. If it has ads you can go into advanced mode and just allow whatever is doing the blocking. This isn't always an easy thing to do.
