Experiencing a degrading "performance" more and more lately with Youtube media playing. While some youtube media is playing, switching to another tab and doing some typing/whatever, returning to the YT media tab had a visible video "hang" of about ~1sec for some months, lately it's both audio and video and feels extremely clumsy.

I suspect they try everything to get memory consumption down, but it just ain't thought out enough and feels clumsy.

What if you disable background process priority manager?
There is a bug regarding media playing but it concerns about playing at background tabs, not switching to them.

Today's Nightly is out: couple things right off - the three-dot menu in the address bar is not working, no drop-down. New tab page now showing 'Recommended by Pocket' grrrrr

EDIT: Options 'hamburger' button also does not work.

BIG Problem: Tried to go back to last night's build - get a warning box that it cannot be run will corrupt bookmarks etc... prompts to create a NEW Profile.
Running profile manager to try to go back to 'default' and it won't allow it to run....

Going to be really hard to find regression range if you can't run older builds......

@ TheVisitor - I can confirm this issue. I reported it here - Bug 1526661 - Mozilla Firefox Nightly 67.0a1 (2019-02-09) GUI is broken and I will try to find regression range today.
Virtualfox persona
Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

Thanks! Disabling dom.ipc.processPriorityManager.enabled at least "fixed" the hanging audio, the video still hangs for a second upon switching back, but it seems to occur about 50% of the time instead of 100%.

EDIT: Nope, audio hangs still occuring too.

WTF is up with what was mentioned that I can't restore my backup of my FX folder from 10 minutes ago to back off this build? Is there a pref to turn off this feature? Not about to start with a new profile. I've restored so many times in the past for reasons like this and other screw ups.

BTW... Hamburger menu works in safe mode.
