Connection lost and extension not working after restart

Test it with caution. Back up your profile if you don't feel safe.

Does anyone experience a complete loss of connection, and extensions not correctly initialised after restarting (not close and re-open) Nightly?

STR:
1. Use a profile with maybe 20+ extensions.
2. Open a few tabs and nagviate to different sites.
3. Restart (not close and re-open) Nightly by:
3a. Open Browser Console (Ctrl-Shift-J)
3b. When focusing Console, press Ctrl-Alt-R.
(You may need to restart Nightly a few times to trigger the bug.)

The bug is also triggered when restarting from a Nightly update.

Actual result:
Sometimes these issues will happen together:
1. Internet connection is lost. Those tabs are not restored. I cannot visit other sites in new tabs.
2. Extensions are still shown as enabled but:
2a. Some extensions cannot function.
2b. Some extensions can function but they are reverted to the initial/default state. Some customised options are not loaded.

Other Nightly instances can still connect to the internet.
If I close Nightly completely and re-open it, all things are back to normal. No data are lost.


The bug does not seem to link to one particular extension. All I know is I need many extensions enabled to trigger the bug (maybe they slow down Nightly enough?).
I think I started seeing this bug for around a week. Warp should be the only big change to my profile, but disabling it does not resolve the problem.

What tools can I use to collect data for this kind of startup bug?

Some progress:
uMatrix is partly responsible for the connection loss, probably because it is not initialised correctly for the yet unknown reason.
I uninstalled uMatrix in my test profile but still some other extensions are not working after a restart. Investigating...
