UPDATE: regressed by bug 1805802. Filed bug 1811252.

Does anyone see this as well?

Easier STR:
1. Use Nightly's Profile Manager. (Make a shortcut for firefox.exe > add -p at the end of "target")
2. Uncheck "Use the selected profile without asking at startup"
3. Create a new test profile. Start Nightly with that profile.
4. Without closing the Nightly window, click the shortcut for firefox.exe and try to start a new window with the same profile.

Actual result:
Nightly doesn't open a new window

Expected result:
Nightly opens a new window, à la Jan 18th build.

-------------------------
Original post:

If you have PDFs set to open with Nightly on Windows, can you open a locally saved PDF in Jan 19th build when a Nightly window is already opened?

Steps to reproduce:
1. In Win10 Settings > Apps > Default apps > Choose default applications by file type, set Firefox Nightly as the default program for .pdf.
2. Open Nightly.
3. Open a locally saved .pdf from Windows Explorer.

Result:
File doesn't not open in Nightly.
If no Nightlies are opened, I can open the PDF.

Alternatively, set .url to open in "internet browser", Nightly as the default browser in Default Apps and then open a .url file.

I can reproduce both variants. If a Firefox window is already open, double-clicking PDFs doesn't open a new tab in the existing window, instead nothing happens.

And even if there's only one profile, the functionality of opening additional tabs or windows from a Firefox shortcut, either from the context menu or by middle-clicking, is totally broken.
