I think you should post build's bugfixes and regressions in this kind of topics... But I can't see none except those "it takes longer to shut down"...
After almost a week of frustration with nightly builds (both official and unofficial), tonight's build by Mr. Ebrahim works perfectly again on my machine.
Thanks Mr. E.

I just install this built (2003-11-18 Pentium III) over 2003-11-16. This built rocks... I feel it's faster than 11-16 built, startup, shut down, moving cursor between bookmarks,... .
Thanks,

I've done exactly the same thing and it really faster then 2003-11-16 build.
No problem downloading with this build, however something new now: when I go to http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions/ and try to download extensions I get "cannot write to filecannot write to filecannot write to filecannot write to filecannot write to file" displayed where the page title bar should be, and only a small portion of Mozilla title display. I am able to download extensions from the page, FB just can't render it properly. Haven't found any other problems yet.

I don't see that problem... That page is render properly here.
Up and running. Confirmed that the slow close problem is fixed. Used it for 15 minutes and am running about 9 tabs and have done a download with it. Looking very good. I don't see any problems with Java as was mentioned earlier except for this page: http://www.gold-eagle.com/ where the Hot Stories section is blank (it should have stories in it).
My guess is that this page is a real mess codewise but it is a very popupar site.

Hot Reports section works fine here... I see scoring stories in it.

Hmmm. I went to it again and the stories showed up but were static. They're supposed to scroll up. When I hit refresh, it went blank. Maybe it's something in my profile messing with it. The website guy indexes his page elsewhere at 7:00 AM so I just go there when I want an index of the stories.

Yes, I experienced exactly the same thing.

I also experienced the odd script above the toolbar, but found that the same thing appeared whenever I view the site using non-firebird/mozilla browsers, so don't think it is anything in the build.

It's a coding error on the web page itself and turns up in I.E. as well.
I can't set favicons for sites in bookmarks for this release. I've had this problem for several nightlies and keep 11/8 around for editing favicons for sites so this is nothing new. I'm still using a profile from the 11/8 nightly so it could be that I need a fresh profile. I just don't have the time to build a new one. I'll probably do a new one this weekend.
My laptop now has about five or six versions of Firebird on it now.
