Please do _NOT_ use the JAVA plugin from */600/* for builds created with Sun Workshop. The */600/* plugins are for gcc 2.95.x builds and are _incompatible_ to builds created with other compilers (the gcc C++ name mangeling and other nasty details are different (and to make it worse, gcc 2.95.x, gcc 3.0 and gcc > 3.0 are all incompatible to each other, too... ;-/ )).

Please use the plugin from /usr/java/jre/plugin/sparc/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji140.so for the Solaris/SPARC nightlies from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/phoenix/nightly/latest-trunk/ - this works for me perfectly (JAVA version "build 1.4.0-b92, mixed mode")

hmm, i think i just figured out why none of the builds work for me.

i'm on x86!
time to figure out how to build it myself.
