I already did that, as well as testing the patch, which appears to work. I'm trying to figure out if it causes any new regressions.

http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=228384 is where the patch is and it was written by WG. I just gave it a whirl and it seemed to work
It hadn't been reviewed yet so it may be an answer or it may cause some regressions, but I can't find any at this point.

Printing bug
Since today it does not seem to be possible to print a framecontent via javascript anymore.
I have a page containing an iframe with data.
I used to print the iframecontent from the mainbody with
Now it does not work anymore, no errors in javascriptconsole, but it prints the mainpage+iframe, i/o just the iframe content

Oh really? I still get crash on startup as seen in bug 228648. OS is Windows XP. Does anyone else have it on 20031215 build?

If it's a javascript problem it's also on the Mozilla Suite, not just Firebird. Has anyone tested this on Mozilla?
