.8 Build - Installation Problem

With all prior builds, I was able to simply delete the Firebird directory (partitioned drive - Profiles kept in a seperate directory) and install the new build and everything worked fine. But with !*@ Build.08 this procedure no longer works. It finds my profile but is basically inoperable or hung-up somewheres as it just sits there daring me to make it work. Any ideas? One suggestion I could make is that the profile editor give you the option to EDIT the path for profile data rather than defaulting to C:

Use the custom installation instead of the default one.

Custom install or default - makes no difference.
