01.20.03 cvs build works w/ themes+extensions
Just built the CVS at 10:15 pm eastern and everything works fine (installing themes, changing, and installing extensions). Ironically though, make install and then simply running "phoenix" does not work... must go into ~/mozilla/dist/bin and run phoenix manually. Odd....

That sounds like (at least partially) good news. I look forward to testing the latest build tomorrow (2003-01-21), which should have that fix incorporated.

Thanks for the news anyway. I've been busy today and haven't had the chance to try out 2003-01-21. I'll get my hands on 2003-01-22 tomorrow to see if anything different emerges.

Looks like it might be in today's (Wednesday's) build coming at noon EST: in Bugzilla Bug 187126, we now have...
------- Additional Comment #42 From Christopher Seawood 2003-01-21 14:10 -------
Created an attachment (id=112196)
Unset MOZ_STATIC_COMPONENT_LIBS
Turns out that it was the previous checkin for the GRE that caused the problem.
Since MOZ_STATIC_COMPONENT_LIBS was set, the module entry point for the
component was being translated and it wasn't being loaded in a static build.

(From update of attachment 112196)
The patch was checked in eariler tonight.

Well I'm not downloading it tonight
Looks like there are only Linux nightlys available for 2002-01-21 and 2002-01-22...

I wonder if the build process has been bribed to work in favour of Linux?
I've been busy for the last couple of days and haven't been able to test the latest nightlies. Hopefully I will have some free time on the weekend.
