No, 2.0.0.1 release is imminent, so the branch is now labeled 2.0.0.2pre to indicate that these builds are pre-2.0.0.2 or if you want, "before 2.0.0.2" (but after 2.0.0.1).
Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding and misleading.

The official release has been pushed back to the same time that the updates go live.
from mozilla.dev.planning. Using what's on the FTP is ok. Just don't do digging it yet.We are wrapping up a few bouncer issues and retesting mozilla.com changes... and should be ready to release around 4:00pm Pacific Time today: Tuesday, December 19th.

Looks like they're suggesting JRE 5 (also known as 1.5.0_10) for users, but JRE 6 for developers who get the Development Kit (SDK).
The Firefox/Java thing, plugin or JRE, whatever, is more troublesome than it used to be. I had to close Firefox and restart it to get back and post this message. At least it has an auto updater now.

I just installed 2.0.0.1... none of my extensions work - at all.
I also can't install new ones or check for updates (checking crashes FF)
Is this just me? If so, what can I do (I'm guessing save bookmarks and reinstall from scratch)
(edit: apologies if this is in the wrong place - I'm new 'round here)

game_maker, not seeing that here. But I'm using Vista for testing compatibility.
One bug I'm seeing in Vista.
1. Bookmarks-bookmark this page- ok.. then the window doesn't close as normal. It does bookmark the page.
Running Vista x86 RTM, in reg mode, not running Firefox as admin. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1
