Install Over Firebird?

Installed over Firebird latest install and did complete uninstall. Seems like the installation over firebird works better. Is there a difference or preference for the installation of Firefox? Help appreciated,thanks.

The "preference" would be to clear out the Firebird program folder first, and then install Firefox.

Firefox defaults to installing into a new folder (because of the name change) anyway.
