Post by gbitten »

The new preference panel look like more intuitive but some extensions preference may not work for while :(

I supose that the buttons on left side of panel will be icons.

You'll want to revert to the "classic" theme (the default qute-based phoenix theme) until themes update to work with the new preferences panel or until the new preference panel updates to work with existing themes.

Why not djst? I´m talking about nightly Phoenix builds! , here is the descrption of this forum:
" Phoenix Builds
Talk about nightly Phoenix builds and the Build Bar.
Moderators asa, Phoenix Developers"

Ok, there is an another thread about a new preference´s UI, that is an important information, but my topic isn´t about only that. It is about a new build.

By the way, Tabbed Browsing and Mouse Gesture preferences doesn´t work in this build, the settings buttton appear disabled.

Im using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20030201 Phoenix/0.5, on red hat. My toolbar seems very buggy, anyone else suffered this?

Buggy in what way? I'm probably going to put in a Bugzilla for the toolbars.

bugzilla is the system that tracks bugs / RFEs

you are going to 'file a bug' ?

Yes, I know what it is. And yes, I did file one. I hope it's not a dupe.

Themes and Extention

Post by gbitten »

If I understand, all themes and all extentions with a preference panel must to be updated to work properly with this build, am I right?

The bug / problem I get with linux is that the toolbar seems to screw up and you cant use the buttons thereon. It seemed to happen after I tried to customise it. I'm using 'Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20030129 Phoenix/0.5' now and thats been fine.

I also use Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20030129 Phoenix/0.5
and I don't notice any problems with my toolbar.
