Where has the "Close all other tabs" option gone? I miss it... a lot :)

It's still available in TBE, on the context menu for tabs, if you really want it. And yes, you can use TBE with the current builds, it just takes a little more work.

I had that extension, but for some reason (Do not ask) I could not post at forums (EzBoard) when it was installed, I just couldn't get past the Submit Reply button on the posting screen... so I removed the extension and all was working once again...

Very stange, so is Close all other tabs gone for good?

I'm not 100% sure but the newest TBE (20030218) says something in the change history
that some form problems have been fixed.

You could try just disabling the extension for the duration of that BB visit.

It'll be <a href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191818" title="File menu missing "Close other tabs" option">back in the file menu</a>

The patch for <a href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191818">bug 191828</a> has been checked in and we have now a "Close other tabs" in the file menu (in my 2003021922 build).
But <a href="http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191818#c36">comment 36</a> suggest this might have broken Phoenix.

That's a good question. I can't believe "bloat" was the reason. If the routine is still there, the difference putting it under File and leaving it where it was can be more than the text and function call.

The reason it was removed was that some guys clicked it inadvertently, having DATALOSS.
Of course, if I click it, I want to lose that data, mostly. With a better mouse and less speedy clicking I wouldn´t have had to write "mostly".
But better to have it back at the wrong place, than missing it completely.
In that new place I REALLY have to look that I´m on the right tab.

How long has that menu item been around? I just checked the 2002-12-28 build and couldn't find that entry under File. I did see it under the tab context menu, though, and that is gone from the 2003-02-21 build. Is that what you meant, Flii?
