Customize Toolbar Bustaged Marked as Fixed...

Post by AkiAki007 »

but it still didn't work for me...

Link to Bug

And my build is yesterday's nightly:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030219 Phoenix/0.5

Anyone else following this bug have a clue? People confirmed that it was working, so I'm rather confused.

The fix went in at 02/19/2003 18:09. I don't believe that would have made it into yesterday's build

Indeed, customizing the toolbar works once again. I've been holding off on the new builds since 1/31, so I'm happy to get 20 days worth of fixes in the trunk and the customize toolbar bustage fixed as well. Good work, guys!

But beware: According to some other msgs in these forums, apparently the 2/19 and 2/20 have introduced some kind of tab bustage. I think I'll stick with 2/18 till that gets fixed.

Indeed, I've posted a Bug on Bugzilla. Though I'm not sure if it should be under Mozilla or Phoenix. Phoenix didn't have a Tabbed Browsing section, so I filed it under Mozilla...we'll see how it progresses.

Wow, that tab bug is SUPER annoying. I switched back to the Feb 18 build and the bug isn't present, so I just have to make not to do ANYTHING to my toolbar to keep it the way it is. Thanks for the heads-up. I would have noticed it pretty fast, but that saves me the time of searching Bugzilla to see if it's known, etc.

Well now I know what your talking about with tab bustage when you use tabs they do unexpected things while closing. Like when you open a new tab and close the old tab it will close the new tab instead or some times it will not close tabs at all. But at least you don't have to use tabs.

I hope they can get this fixed before Mozilla 1.3 so I can have a nicely stable browser. Before Mozilla starts over again with 1.4

This is not a Mozilla bug, but a Phoenix bug. I filed it in bugzilla.

Tried the 20030220 build with a clean profile and noticed some new bustage in the bookmarks. As in it won't remember them. I tried copying my old bookmarks file over, and I tried importing them. It never displays them when I restart Phoenix. Anyone else actually notice this?

Off to Bugzilla.

Same here, John. However the bookmarks do show in the Bookmark Manager.
