How to run latest builds?

Post by chob »

I'm on win2k. I use an old version of firefox (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040127 Firebird/0.8.0+ (stipe)) and want to try new ones, but recently every single build I have tried crashes as soon as I start it.

I'm guessing this is because I don't have a profile created for the new build, but how can I create one when the latest build always crashes as soon as it's started?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks, but the profile manager doesn't work. As soon as I run the .exe I get a crash, whether or not it has the -p parameter passed to it.

Edit: I'm trying to run scragz 26th Mar build, but all the builds I've tried recently have done the same.

I had that happen to me last week with Bangbangs builds and it was determined to be with SSE2 instructions. I switched to BlueFyre's builds w/out SSE2 and have not had a problem since.

Have you tried any other builds with diff. processor optimizations?
