Force firefox to update bookmarks.html file

There is a pref that makes Firefox 3 create a file bookmarks.html on Exit: browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML
I don't know if b5 already has it.

FF3b5 has it. I set the value to true, but I get no copy of my bookmarks in my profile folder. Since it works in the Minefield versions, I assume that it will be working in the upcoming RC's.

This preference is working in FF 3.0 RC 1.

You don't need to update the long list of your bookmarks in Firefox. Just use AliveBookmark software. With this you can save any part of any webpage as a bookmark, and later on, you don't have to go back to the site to check for updates, the program will instantly notify you about each update.
