Missing pncrt.dll crashes build?

Post by SwampFan »

I searched the forums and bugzilla for this, but couldn't find anything. I just crashed FF for the first time in a long time - using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040325 Firefox/0.8.0+ . I tried to access a media link on Yahoo, and I got an error message saying that PNCRT.DLL could not be located.

Anyone else ever seen this? I easily found the file online, but I'd like to know more about what it does.

Thanks!

Let me guess. Do you have real player installed ? If so, try to uninstall and reinstall it.

PNCRT.DLL seems to be used by it.

Actually, no I don't have RP installed, nor have I ever installed it. Why this crashed FF I would like to know, though...
