why not for 1.7 as well???

Coz it works in the branch build
It's a regression from a 1.8a checkin

The patch for 238684 was just superreview+, and bug 240552 was filed in relation to creating a default whitelist for XPInstall.

I agree. 0.9 could be released in Sept. for all I care, aslong as some of those huge bugs are fixed. I am not testing any new builds till they become atleast functional. With the image and extention bug, they are useless to me...I get a feeling its going to be a while before that happens...

You can use the new branch builds (like Braese's), they are safe and stable.

could someone tell me, what is the last stalbe build, without extention & image bug and without the downloadmangaer progressbar bug?
