2003-03-18 Builds are up!

Post by IamBobaFett »

Any problems encountered with this build yet? I am still using the 2003-03-14 build so perhaps this could end up being my next upgrade, who knows. :)

Just installed it. Using existing profile. It seems to open up fine so far...

Just tried http://www.w3.org/ and it loads fine. so XHTML bug is fixed. Need to do more testing with other sites to see about other stuff that's fixed.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030318 Phoenix/0.5
[Using Noia theme and no extenstions.]

Subjective, for the first time it seems to me, that this build is faster
than all the other I tested yet (Last one was 2003-03-12).

No Problems so far...using Mouse Rocker, Quickprefs, TBE, Text Links
and my old profile.

Greetz...Andreas

I'm still getting all the problems which was in 17

1) Bookmark toolbar resizes when I click it
2) Some pages load very strange

Regarding resizing bookmark toolbar. Which theme are you using? It seems fine here with Noia theme... I guess this could be theme releated. Either that or I need more details on how to replicate the situation

is it this one that you are using:
(taken from Phoenix Help )
Orbit 3+1 by Chris Neale
Version 0.0.6.5, Updated 2002-10-31
Install Theme (1500 KB)
Visit Theme Homepage

Can you try this with Noia and let me know.. if you still see it.. post the details of what happens and when... thanks :)

Wow... that was rather weird..... I went to Options... and selected Noia.. then I clicked on "OK" button....what followed was just weird...I had Mozillazine tab as active.... so i had the content move down... then up... in a twisty like motion.... (I guess theme change) and then stop and everything is back to normal....

Noia bookmark toolbar looks okay, but it doesn't use the same functions as Orbit, since orbit has a "press" effect when you click it...

Anyone see this with other themes?

Ok.. some more stuff regarding this build... according to Windows 2000 Task Manager phoenix with 12 tabs open (pretty much same sites as I usually open) is taking 52,580k and 815 GDI objects.. does it seem like phoenix is using more memory than the prev. nightlies?

P.S. Can somebody post their numbers in terms of memory usage and stuff?

That's because some developers seems to forget to notify me when they update their themes. Those same developers seems to like adding a version number to the actual theme name, making it impossible for me to keep the list current..
