2003-03-19 Win32 build is up

Post by AGSHender »

Installed a bit ago and using an old profile from a week or so ago, seems to be about the same as yesterday unless you were tracking a trunk bug that got fixed. I successfully installed mouse gestures, MyCroft searches, and AdBlock.

To those that were wondering, I'm using the mouse gestures install on http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/extensions/ which installs and works perfectly, though it's an older version and does not have rockers, or any of the other new features in v0.3.5.

If you install the Mouse Gestures from http://www.texturizer.net/phoenix/extensions.html then this is version 0.3.5 and work fine with Phoenix and has rocker navigation built in.

[Edit... At least they do for me Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030318 Phoenix/0.5]

I have noticed that Autoscroll no longer works in the Win builds of both 3/18 and 3/19. Anyone else?

Yes,this happened a few days back (12/3 I think). If you want autoscroll then just go to http://perso.wanadoo.fr/marc.boullet/ex ... ns-en.html and install the All-In One extension, which contains this and a few other extensions.

Actually I just found this extension.... so far this is an excellent extension. I certainly recommend it.

this build is certainly a lot faster than my previous 14th march build. browser loads faster and pages load faster. everything just seems a lot snappier. no problems with tbe or anything else so far.

Why would you even consider to use the OS that is older and more obsolete than your computer?
See, that's just one of the reasons why I pick Linux.

I tried the one off texturizer.net and it was a bit tweaky for me, although it worked. I don't use rockers, though, so I went back to the old version for preciseness.

I get the proper timestamp on my download. You sure you got the right nightly?

Acutally, since I posted that, I am now using the All-in-one extension mentioned earlier and I like that much better... much easier to customize and more customizable.

Too many mirrors...

The correct location of the 3.19.2003 build is here http://komodo.mozilla.org/pub/phoenix/n ... -08-trunk/

Most of the other links on this forum and in Phoenix's bookmarks don't go to the correct url.

I used this generic link as I always do:

http://komodo.mozilla.org/pub/phoenix/n ... est-trunk/

So how did I get the right one?

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030319 Phoenix/0.5

looks like it from that user-agent string. the forum links and stuff URLs should always point to the latest build... as long as you do it after the daily build has happened, you'll get that day's build.
