Anyoen know where I can get the old ico files from mozilla?

Install Mozilla, and look down the directory tree. I use the Mozilla icons for my nightly version and the Phoenix icon for my stable version.

Why would you even consider to use the OS that is older and more obsolete than your computer?
See, that's just one of the reasons why I pick Linux.
