The official 20040601-Linux-builds are out
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... est-trunk/
I can start the builds, but only by console.
The Firefox-icon on the desktop(KDE 3.2.1) is useless.

I can't understand that.
I'm the only one, which has this problem?
Why does the Firefox start only from the terminal/console?
I have the problem now since 20040531.
I work with SuSE Linux 9.1(Kernel 2.6.4, gcc 3.3.3).
It works for me, however I have to start with -P: 'firefox -P default'. I'm running Fedora Core 2.
Doesn't work here. Haven't been able to run the last 3 nightlies. They start OK at the end of the install process but then will not run from the icon (the desktop 'shortcut'). This is on SuSE 9.0.
Until the nightly of 31st had no troubles of any kind.

The command for shorcut usually does not have option '-P'. You should try it from a shell. If it works, update your shortcut command.

It doesn't work whichever way you cut it. Only time it works is at the end of the Install process when it automatically starts - but after that, zilch.
The nightly for 300504 (and earlier) when installed same way works fine.
I think it was with Thunderbird some weeks ago that one had to clear-out the Chrome directory (in ./thunderbird/default/) for the new series of nigthlies to work but doing this with Firerox has not affect.
