The trunk build does not yet have the extension manager and theme manager enabled. I suggest you use branch builds for now....

What do you mean by that? I have had this problem for the last few days. Does a new profile fix it? Or is there a bug open on it?
No it is only back if you use RC1 with the 20040608 profile.
With its own profile it's no problem

Right click on the mozillaZine gif at the top left of this screen. The context menu should pop up. Click anywhere on the screen to get rid of it. Right click on the gif again. If Firefox didnt crash, keep doing it, Firefox will always crash, but I cant reproduce the actual number of clicks it takes to crash it...

Can reproduce 100% of the time. Works with any image, even the PNG posted above this post.

Bug 246014 doesn't seem to appear in this build:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040610 Firefox/0.8.0+ (daihard: XFT+GTK2; opt. for P4/SSE-2)

If no one else experiences this, I'm going to resolve it.

Leave it open for another day, it wouldn't be the first time it would come back again.
(happened to me a few times with a printingbug)

New Bug in Trunk? (09-10 June)

Post by joeg »

I know most of the focus is on the branch, but several people have corroborated this problem (see replies 6 and 7 to my other topic <a href="http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=83577">"Trunk build problem- 09 & 10 June")</a>, so I thought I'd try to bring it to a wider audience.

This is how all websites have looked since yesterday using the trunk builds: No cell backgound rendering, etc. It looks like a CSS (style sheets) problem.
<img src="http://www.tu-berlin.de/zems/greenman/firefox_trunk_10-jun.jpg">

I'm using Win 98SE. It doesn't matter whether I use a new profile or my old one.

The trunk of 08 June works fine, yeterday's and today's branch builds are fine, and so is snipe's optimized trunk build of today (10 June).

Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks guys. I went to an old trunk build, then to the latest branch and now back to the latest trunk and cant reproduce the bug anymore...weird. I guess its a good thing though :)

Hey JoeG:

I'm having the same exact rendering problem with the latest nightly builds. And it's been happening since yesterday's build too. I'm on 98SE as well.

Looks like a 98 bug. I am on 2003 (XP) I dont experience that.

This bug doesnt seem to have been fixed: TRUNK:#245758 Persisting bookmarks file converts ' to ' in bookmark title (apostrophe, lsquo, entity)

Still showing up as (& # 3 9 ;)

How do I do that?
I can add a comment, but there is no option to reopen it. Only a radiobutton that is labelled leave resolved. And I can't uncheck that

You can't reopen.
