I upgraded to 3.0.2 beta this morning, and firefox crashed. I restarted it with a new session, and after after coming and showing a welcome page for 3.0.2 beta, it crashes immediately. I submitted a bug with mozilla quality feedback. I then tried to run it in safe mode, and it still crashed. This is on Windows XP SP2.
Has anyone else seen this problem?

restarted my computer, didn't help.
I just restarted my computer to see if that would help, but no luck.
What is the procedure to rollback the 3.0.2 beta back to 3.0.1 ? If I check Add or Remove Programs it shows Mozilla Firefox (3.0.2). Can I just uninstall this and reinstall Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1 fresh?

Yes. Just be aware that there is probably an option in the (un)installer to remove your profile data. If you don't want that to happen, make sure it's not selected.

Thanks, I uninstalled 3.0.2 and reinstalled 3.0.1 and I'm up and running again.

I don't know what Access Violation was happening. I hadn't changed anything on my computer. Firefox 3.0.1 was working fine, and then after updating to 3.0.2 it crashed.
