Video stops halfway through

Post by frcen »

Hi,

anyone already had this issue? We've create a web page to screen some videos (mp4 progressive download file format), the video titles are full feature so around 1h00-1h30 length. While most of the browsers seem to behave correctly, Firefox on win7 seems to have a weird issue where the buffer quickly moves on (about 15 sec to buffer 30 minutes) but when it reach the 30 minutes point it stuck there. The result being that our video stop playing after 30 minutes or so, instead of playing fully.

Any idea on what can cause this issue?

Thanks Frederico

URL?

(Seem to recall something recently regarding video buffering issues? Don't recall if it were in these pages or bugzilla?)

thanks a lot,

Finally I think that I found what was going wrong. Pretty sure it is coming from swift headers that is provided by the server.
